Friends of Fun Food
Urban Outreach Bolton is a registered Christian Charity, established in 1990 to work with disadvantaged and vulnerable individuals in Bolton. A new project called Friends of Fun Food will re-engage children and their families from some of Bolton’s most disadvantaged communities through food and cooking. The project will take cooking into the community by using schools and other local venues, to teach children and their families how to source basic ingredients to prepare healthy affordable meals.
How We Helped
New funding for the project through The People’s Millions partnership has meant Urban Outreach can increase the number of support workers and so Smarter Technologies was asked to supply and install several new PCs.
